"Words escape me, I enjoyed this book so much. These characters leapt from the page and straight into my imagination. April has all the ferocity of every momma bear worth her claws, and she needs it. Chris is a fine example of the best book boyfriend material has to offer: protective without being a jerk, sweet without being a pushover, and just so darned caring. Handsome, charming, a successful doctor, extremely well-off, and good with children are just added benefits. I loved this as a story of overcoming the wounds of a previous bad relationship, because April has a whole ocean-liner of emotional baggage that make starting anything with Chris extra challenging. Watching them achieve their happy ever after made my day. Now, there’s at least two secondary characters I still want to see stories about."

"Wow! Ok, for me this was a book that had me tapping for the next page to appear only for me to realise I was at the end - I wanted more, I enjoyed this book so so much.

I loved the story, the characters, the humour and all the different relationships, there wasn't anything I didn't like about this book, except that I was gutted when I came to the end!

I thought this was a well written book, so much so that I read it in one sitting, late into the night as I couldn't stop reading about April and Chris. I loved seeing Luna and Cyrus again and I really liked Hunter and Kate as characters and wonder if they will ever get their HEAs?"

"This book is rated a 10 by me!!! Loved loved loved this book from page 1 to the very end. Couldn’t wait to see how it ended but wanted it to go on and on. Hopefully there will be other books following characters in this book.
Chris, a Doctor, meets April in the ER when her daughter Adi is brought in after an accident. April’s Ex is a piece of work and continually muddies and complicates the plot.
This author just keeps getting better and better and I believe I would read his grocery lists!!!

April was a single mom set on keeping her independence and taking care of her daughter.
